Shamans think that if an individual is exposed to trauma, loss and stress, some parts of their energy or their soul can become damaged or fragmented in some way. At times, shamans are compared to psychologists since they seek out anguish in the subconscious so as to affect the conscious.

The method of soul retrieval is utilized to be able to aid restore energy that is lost in an individual's soul. St. John's is the capital city of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is located on the eastern section of the Avalon Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland.
